The Lehman Trilogy

Sasha ist vom 03. Mai 2024 bis 02. Juni 2024, ein Teil des, aus drei bestehenden Schauspielern, Ensemblees für das Stück "The Lehman Trilogy v. Stefano Massini", welches am Kilstrom Theater in Denver aufgeführt wird. Ja, richtig gelesen, es sind lediglich 3 Schauspieler.

Sasha spiel Emanuel Lehman, einen von drei Brüdern. An seiner Seite spielen Tasso Feldmann und Matthew Boston. 

Das Stück besteht aus drei Akte und ist ca. 3 Stunden und 20 Minuten lang, mit einer jeweiligen Pause von 10 Minuten. Es sind drei Dekaden, bei denen man den Weg der drei Brüder und deren Nachfahren, verfolgen wird, bis zum Jahr 2008.

Im Jahr 2022 wurde das Stück u.a. mit 5 Tony Awards ausgezeichnet, 6 Outer Critics Circle Awards und 1 Drama League Award.

Inhalt

Die drei Brüder sind Einwanderer, deutsch-jüdischer Herkunft. 1847 eröffnen Sie ein kleines Bekleidungsgeschäft in Alabama, doch sie träumen von viel mehr und gehen mit dem Fortschritt. Es gibt über die vielen Jahre selbstverständlich große Hürden, die es zu überwinden galt und den Skeptikern die Stirn zu bieten. Sie und ihre Nachfahren schaffen es bis an die Wall Street, wo es 2008 zum großen Crash kommt.

Sasha plays Emanuel Lehman, one of the three brothers. He is joined by Tasso Feldmann and Matthew Boston.

The play consists of three acts and is about 3 hours and 20 minutes long, with a 10-minute intermission. It spans three decades and follows the journey of the three brothers and their descendants up to the year 2008.

In 2022, the play won 5 Tony Awards, 6 Outer Critics Circle Awards and 1 Drama League Award, among others.

Content

The three brothers are immigrants of German-Jewish origin. In 1847, they opened a small clothing store in Alabama, but they dreamed of much more and went with the flow. Over the many years, there were of course major hurdles to overcome and skeptics to contend with. They and their descendants made it all the way to Wall Street, where the big crash occurred in 2008.
