Die erste Folge von Caprica flimmerte am 22. Januar 2010 auf dem SyFy Channel in den USA. Es gibt leider nur
1 Staffel mit 18 Episoden.
Caprica ist ein Prequel zu Kampfstern Galactica / Battlestar Galactica, und spielt rund 58 Jahre in der Vergangenheit. Es handelt sich hier um die Geschichte der Familien Graystones und Adama. Sasha spielt an der Seite von Esai Morales, Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani und einigen mehr.
Die Familien haben beide den Verlust eines Kindes durch einen Anschlag zu beklagen, für den u. a. die Tochter der Graystones mitverantwortlich gemacht wird. Beide Familien leiden und Joseph Adama wird von seinem Bruder Sam (gespielt v. Sasha) dazu gebracht, die Tradition zu ehren.
Daniel Graystone vergräbt sich in seine Arbeit. Die virtuellen Welten sind sein Steckenpferd und er ist es, der den ersten Zylonen entwickelt!
Lasst mich an dieser Stelle noch sagen, das Sasha hier in der Serie verheiratet ist, doch ist er nicht der liebe, nette Junge von nebenan.
In dieser viel zu kurzen Serie gibt es einige Überraschungen, die auf euch warten.
Noch heute verbindet die Darsteller eine Freundschaft, erst jüngst traf man sich und feierte Sasha´s 42 Geburtstag.
Gedreht wurde in Kanada und den USA, überwiegend in Vancouver und auch in Seattle. Für die Produktion waren die David Eick Produktion und die Universal Pictures verantwortlich.
In Deutschland wurde 2011 zwar der erste Teil des Piloten ausgestrahlt doch es brauchte noch weitere drei Jahre, das wir Caprica im Free-TV sehen durften. Im Juni 2014 war es endlich soweit.
Sam Adama, das ist die Rolle die Sasha in der Serie Caprica verkörperte. Caprica gehört zur Familie von Kampfstern Galactica, und spielt vor den Ereignissen der Besatzung des sagenumwobenen Kreuzers der auf der Suche nach der Erde war. Leider gab es nur eine Staffel, aber diese war sehr intensiv. Schaut doch unter die Kategorie Caprica vorbei, dort stehen noch ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Die Rolle war für Sasha übrigens die Anspruchvollste und lohnenswerteste Rolle.

The first episode of Caprica was shown 22nd of January 2010 on SyFy Channel. Sadly there are only 1 season wih 18 episodes.
Caprica is a prequel to Battlestar Galactica and plays around 58 years in the past. In the foreground are the families Graystone and Adama. Sasha play on the side of Esai Morales, Eric Stoltz, Alessandra Torresani and some more.
The families have to mourn both the loss of a child cause of an bomb attack in which case the daughter of Graystone could be responsible. Both families are suffering and Joseph Adama (played by Esai) was brought by his brother Sam (played by Sasha) to hold on the tradition.
Daniel Graystone (Eric Stoltz) buries himself in his work. He´s a scientist of the virtual world and he build up the first Cylon.
At this point let me tell you that Sam is married here in that show but he is not Mister Nice Guy from the neighborhood.
In this short show some surprises waiting for you!
The cast still are having a friendship. At least they meet up and celebrate Sasha´s 42 birthday.
It was filmed in Canada and the USA and here are the cities Vancouver and Seattle are the places.
The production companies which came together here are David Eick productions and Universal Pictures.
Sam Adama is the character Sasha played in the TV-Show Caprica. Caprica is a part of the Battlestar Galactica family and played before the fabled cruisers and his crew start the searching after planet earth. Sadly there was only one season of it but very intense. Take a look to the section Caprica there you can find a few informations about it. Btw., Sam Adama was the most demanding and also rewarding character he played..

In Germany they showed the first part of the pilot in 2011 but it took three years more that it was released on German Free-TV. Finally in June 2014 it was aired!
